CANDIDATE STATEMENT
As a lifelong resident of Lorain County and the 13th Senate District, I have the seen challenges that this area and its citizens have faced over the years. This part of the State of Ohio has been one of the hardest hit regions in regards to job loss since 2006. I will work to create jobs by creating an environment that attracts businesses to open or relocate to the area, and become an established part of the community. Higher taxes and unnecessary government regulations make job growth a challenging task, so I will work with my colleagues to keep taxes low and limit the regulations that are put on Ohio's business owners.
