Bill Beagle
CANDIDATE FOR THE OFFICE OF
State Senator, District 5
NOVEMBER 2, 2010 ELECTION
2010 Ohio General Election
CANDIDATE STATEMENT
I’m running because I’m fed up, and I want to take action by fighting the career politicians that treat this Senate seat like it’s an entitlement.
As a small business owner and long time city leader I understand what it takes to run a business and a community, and that government doesn’t create jobs. As your State Senator I’ll get government out of the job creation business and into a more fiscally responsible, limited role.
There are financial storm clouds on the horizon for Ohio, but this administration ignores them by using one-time dollars to keep spending. Tomorrow those dollars aren’t going to be there, but the state bureaucracy and its fiscal demands surely will be. As a former City Council President I’ve got a history of making tough choices to ensure fiscal responsibility. I’ll take that determination to the State Senate with me.
